By using Shareli, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.
Last updated: August 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Shareli ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Shareli is a free, browser-based platform that allows users to share text, code snippets, voice notes, and files in real time through temporary, encrypted rooms. The Service is provided "as is" with no guarantees of uptime, data retention, or availability.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Shareli only for lawful purposes. You must not use the Service to:
- Share, distribute, or transmit illegal content of any kind.
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users.
- Distribute malware, viruses, or any malicious code.
- Engage in spam or unsolicited advertising.
- Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with the Service's security features.
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international laws.
4. No Permanent Data Storage
Shareli is designed as an ephemeral service. All content shared through the platform is temporary and will be permanently deleted when the self-destruct timer expires or when the server restarts. You must not rely on Shareli as a permanent storage solution. We are not responsible for any data loss.
5. End-to-End Encryption
All content shared through private rooms is end-to-end encrypted using the WebCrypto API in your browser. Shareli cannot access, read, or recover encrypted content. Users are responsible for safeguarding their room links, which contain the encryption keys.
6. Intellectual Property
The Shareli platform, including its design, code, and brand, is the property of the Shareli developers. You retain full ownership of any content you share through the Service. By using Shareli, you grant no license or rights to your content to us, since we cannot access it.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shareli and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, loss of revenue, or security breaches resulting from user error (such as sharing a room link with an unintended party).
8. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
9. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms of Service at any time. The most current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
